Overview
Employees can now see their Time Off and Unavailability directly on their schedule.
This visibility is available in both the Mobile Native App and Mobile Web App, including both Day and Week views.
Employees can now easily see when they have scheduled Time Off or Unavailability alongside their schedule.
When to Use This
Use the Schedule view to quickly check your upcoming shifts along with any Time Off or Unavailability that applies to you.
Step-by-Step
Open the Shiftlab Mobile App or Mobile Web App.
Navigate to your Schedule.
Select either the Day or Week view.
Review your schedule.
Your applicable Time Off and Unavailability will now be visible on the schedule.

Timeclock: On-the-Clock Hours
Overview
The Timeclock now provides visibility into the number of hours you've been On the Clock compared with the hours you are scheduled to work for the day.
This information is available in the new Timeclock experience and the Timeclock widget.
When to Use This
Use this feature during your workday to quickly compare your hours worked against your scheduled hours.
Step-by-Step
Open the Timeclock.
Review the hours displayed in the Timeclock widget.
Your On-the-Clock Hours will be displayed alongside your scheduled hours for the day.

Scheduling: Add a Preference to an Existing Shift
Overview
Managers can now add an employee preference even when a shift already exists on the schedule for that day, provided the user has the appropriate permissions.
Previously, the hover options did not allow a preference to be added when a shift was already scheduled.
When to Use This
Use this when you need to add or manage an employee preference while a shift already exists on the schedule.
Step-by-Step
Navigate to the employee's schedule.
Locate the day where the shift is scheduled.
Hover over the applicable shift.
If you have the appropriate permissions, the option to Add Preference will be available.
Select the option to add the employee preference.

Can I add a preference when a shift already exists?
Yes. If your permissions allow it, you can now add a preference even when a shift is already scheduled.
Will everyone have this option?
The option is dependent on the user's configured permissions.
Native App: Submit Time Off Requests
Overview
Employees can now submit a new Time Off Request directly through the Time Off Portal in the Shiftlab Native App.
This provides employees with a convenient way to submit Time Off Requests without needing to access Shiftlab through a web browser.
When to Use This
Use the Native App when you need to submit a new Time Off Request while using your mobile device.
Step-by-Step
Open the Shiftlab Native App.
Navigate to the Time Off Portal.
Select New Request.
Enter the required information for your Time Off Request.
Submit your request.

Do I still need to use the web application?

We've also made several improvements to reliability, performance, and the overall user experience.
Chat Improvements
We've improved Chat access for users whose employment status changes.
What's Improved:
Users who were deactivated or terminated and later reactivated are now properly added back to Chat.
Reactivated users can access Chat as expected after returning to an active status.
Native App Performance & Navigation
We've made several improvements to the Native App experience.
What's Improved:
Resolved an issue that could cause a blank white screen to briefly appear when initially opening the app.
Improved transitions when navigating between different modules.
Pages now load directly rather than transitioning in from the left or right.
These updates provide a smoother and more consistent experience when moving throughout the Native App.
Time Off Request Notifications
We've corrected an issue involving Time Off Request notifications.
What's Improved:
Users will no longer receive a push notification for their own Time Off Request when submitting the request from the web application.
